THE HELP BEYOND ANY EXPECTATION

Beautiful Bible Verse:
Jesus saith unto him: Rise, take up thy bed, and walk
Luke 5:8
In Luke chapter 5, The Lord Jesus went to the healing pool of Bethesda, a place where it was only possible for one person to be healed per time and it was who gets into the water first that would be healed.
And there The Lord Jesus met a man who had been in an impotent condition for 38 long years.
This man couldn’t help himself and this man had no one to put him into the water first, so that he can be healed. So he would have had repeated disappointments and repeated trials and failures and for 38 long years his condition never changed.
For being at the healing pool of Bethesda, his expectation would have been that someone would help him and put him first into the healing water. His hope and source of healing was the healing pool of Bethesda.
When he met The Lord Jesus he didn’t know who The Lord Jesus is and he didn’t know that day was his day of DIVINE APPOINTMENT AND DIVINE TURNAROUND just like today is your day.
The Lord Jesus reached out to him and asked, will thou be made whole?
The man didn’t see The Lord Jesus as THE SAVIOUR but probably as a sympathizer, so he began to narrate his past failures and lack of help. In other words what he was trying to say was that I want to be healed through the healing pool of Bethesda (expected channel) but I have no expected helper to help me based on the terms and conditions of getting healed at the healing pool of Bethesda.
And then,
The Lord Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the Sabbath ( a day not expected to work, this means such a good work was not expected on such a day and by their law work of any kind was not supposed to be carried out on that day)
The Lord Jesus is now in front of you, looking at you with great love,
He knows you have been in this condition for so long,
He knows you have come so close to help and breakthrough many times but got disappointed,
He knows where you’ve been expecting help, help has not come forth for you,
He knows you are doing all to see a change in your life, but no help,
He knows you can not help yourself, He knows everything that you have gone through,
And so with the greatest love of all, and with ALL POWER, He says to you now, RISE, TAKE UP YOUR BED, AND WALK
