FOCUS TOTALLY ON THE WORD
Beautiful Bible Verse:
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
But his delight is in the law of The Lord, and in His law doth he meditate day and night.
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
Psalm 1:1-3
Today I want to draw your attention to something very important, and that is feeding and meditating on The Word of God.
Your daily living, sustenance and growth, depends on your intake, assimilation, understanding and acting on the revelation of The Word of God.
Give attention to feeding on The Word of God just like you pay attention to your food and exercise.
There is an assurance in The Word of God that if you do this, you will surely prosper in whatsoever you do.
Psalm 1 started with a very important instruction and that is: do not subscribe to the counsel of the ungodly or be found in such a circle.
In today’s world we are open to the influence of the media. We have to be careful of the kind of media we subscribe to, because we might be unconsciously counseled or act based on the information we get from such media.
Our counsel should only be word inspired or Holy Spirit inspired.
Say this out loud many times:
My delight is in The Word of God and I make a commitment to meditate on The Word of God, day and night.
